Remote Studio connects to StationPlaylist Studio Pro at the station to enable live shows to be performed on a separate PC, located either at the station or remotely via the internet.

The Remote Studio user sees and hears the tracks, exactly as they would if they were in the studio.

The operator's microphone audio is sent back to Studio for broadcast, using low latency RTP (real-time protocol).

It looks and works almost identically to Studio, but with it's own cart system for instant jingles and sound effects.

Note: Remote Studio requires the same version of Studio Pro installed at the station.

  • Play tracks individually in live mode, checking tracks you wish to play back to back.
  • Supports track movement, deletion, and insertion from the station library. This can be disabled at the Studio.
  • 12 individual cart buttons for playing instant jingles or sound effects, or for playing carts configured at the Studio.

Minimum Program Requirements

  • Reliable internet connection at both ends.
  • Windows XP or later, 32 or 64 bit (Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Server 2025, 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008, or 2003) .
    A WineSkin package is available for Mac OS (purchased version only, no Demo) but not officially supported.
  • Dual core 2.0Ghz processor or better.
  • Minimal RAM usage. A PC with 4GB or more recommended.
  • Minimal disk space requirements.
  • Soundcard with Windows Audio or ASIO drivers for playback audio.
  • Soundcard with with input/recording function with microphone attached, or a USB microphone.
